Pete earned a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations from Grand Valley State University and a master’s in Sports Administration from Concordia University Chicago with an emphasis in Sports Law, Digital Marketing, and Strategic Leadership. As a standout player at GVSU, he started 130 of 131 games, leading the program to 113 wins—the most in school history. A multiple-time First Team All-Conference and All-Defensive Team selection, he was inducted into the GVSU Athletic Hall of Fame in 2018.Professionally, Pete played overseas in Finland where he was a 1st Division champion and in U.S. domestic leagues such as the PBL and IBA.  

Pete combines firsthand experience as a player, coach, athletic administrator, certified agent which provides him the skills to negotiate NBA level contracts. His deep-rooted relationships across all levels of basketball—developed through years in the basketball industry—give him a unique advantage in player development and career advancement. 

Brandoen Guyton is the Chief Marketing Officer of ProActive Sports Management Group, where he leads marketing, branding, and community engagement efforts that connect athletes with meaningful opportunities on and off the court. With over a decade of experience as a varsity head coach and program leader, Brandoen brings a deep understanding of athlete development, leadership, and sports culture.

He is the founder and director of the 2K Showcase, one of the Midwest’s premier basketball events that has spotlighted elite high school talent and drawn national attention. What began in 2015 as the Red Hawk Showcase has evolved into a marquee platform — hosting powerhouse programs, attracting sellout crowds, and producing over 250 athletes who have gone on to play collegiate basketball.

Brandoen holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology, a Master’s in Organizational Leadership and continues to build bridges between communities, brands, and the next generation of athletes.

Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mike Miller has navigated a diverse basketball journey that embodies resilience and growth. From being cut as a freshman in high school to earning a full scholarship and competing in the 2017 NAIA Division I National Championship, his path reflects the mindset he now teaches—being Patiently Ambitious. After playing and coaching semi-professionally in Australia, Mike brings a well-rounded, global perspective to athlete development.

His approach focuses on refining skill, deepening basketball IQ, and cultivating the humility and perseverance required to succeed. Having learned from elite trainers such as Olin Simplis, Kai Wells, and Jeremiah Boswell, Mike has applied those lessons across every level of the game—from grassroots and AAU to collegiate and professional ranks.

Guided by his three core pillars—Be a Student. Be a Leader. Compete.—Mike is dedicated to developing the whole athlete, emphasizing both performance and personal growth as he helps players reach their full potential.

Isaiah Bufkin is a dynamic and strategic leader in sports management, serving as the Director of Player Operations and Financial Strategy at ProActive Sports Management Group. With a strong foundation in finance and a proven track record in athlete management, Isaiah brings a rare blend of business acumen and hands-on experience within professional basketball.

After earning his degree in Finance, Isaiah quickly transitioned into the sports industry, where he became deeply involved in the day-to-day operations and long-term planning of elite basketball talent. He has firsthand knowledge of what it takes to successfully manage a professional athlete at the highest level and has built strong working relationships with NBA executives, the Wasserman Agency, and other high-level organizations across the sports and business landscape.

Isaiah’s ability to seamlessly integrate financial strategy with player operations empowers ProActive clients to make informed decisions both on and off the court, positioning them for sustained success throughout and beyond their playing careers.

Tyrone Lee serves as the Director of Scouting & Player Consultant at ProActive Sports Management Group, where he leads the agency’s talent identification strategy while providing hands-on guidance to athletes navigating the transition to the professional game.

A Detroit native, Tyrone built his basketball foundation at Robichaud High School before continuing his career at Oakland Community College and Grand Valley State University. Known for his versatility, defensive presence, and professionalism, he parlayed his collegiate success into a 13 year international professional basketball career, gaining firsthand experience in overseas markets and the realities of professional athlete life.

Tyrone’s approach to scouting and consulting is rooted in authenticity, experience, and preparation. Having lived the journey himself, he understands the importance of positioning, timing, and decision-making in an athlete’s career. His work ensures that ProActive athletes are not only talented—but prepared.
